If you live in Florida you might have noticed the roads seem a little more crowded, the wait at popular restaurants a little longer, and it might have taken a little more work to get into some of the more popular night clubs.  You’re not imagining things; 2011, while not exactly a banner year in investing, did turn out to be a good one for Florida tourism.

According to the numbers from Visit Florida, the number of visitors to Florida increased every quarter of 2011 between 5 and 10 percent.  It didn’t just feel more crowded this year, it was more crowded!

We felt it here at The Advantaged as well, with more people than ever discovering the ultimate vacation on the waters around Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beaches.  Our yacht charters were up almost 20 percent this year and our clientele included movie stars and red carpet celebrities.

It’s to be expected.  Our yacht charters navigate some of the most beautiful waterways in the world and offer exclusive views of some of the most beautiful island developments anywhere.  All those fantastic views from the comfort and luxury of one of our fleet of fabulous motor yachts.  The more adventurous of our clients spent time snorkeling and reef diving, zipping around sheltered waterways on Waverunners, and deep sea fishing.
